ECHO, listed on the App Store as Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor++, reads your heart rate from the Watch and relays it through the iPhone to gym equipment and apps that accept a standard chest strap. Live heart rate zones show on the wrist even when the machine has no zone display. Workouts up to 20 minutes are free. It suits indoor riders and rowers who would rather not buy a strap.
